Sporting Teams

All students at Perth Modern School are encouraged to develop physical skills, co-ordination, strength and physical fitness so that they may gain a sense of enjoyment and satisfaction from individual and team sporting activities. The provision of opportunities for healthy competition and the fostering of co-operation, integrity and sportsmanship within these situations is an important part of life at Perth Modern School. 

Sports offered include netball, soccer, AFL football,  badminton, volleyball, cricket, rowing, hockey, basketball, rugby and fencing, amongst others. Students compete against other schools in swimming and athletics.



Students have the opportunity to become involved in a variety of clubs that suit the enquiring mind. Clubs include Chess, Astronomy, Fit Club, Tournament of Minds, Future Problem Solving, Debating, Sustainability, Badminton, Table Tennis, Yearbook and Photography Club.
